ITINERARY:
Day
1 - Alice Springs to Kings Canyon & Uluru
Your Red
Centre Adventure begins with a drive through the James and
Waterhouse Ranges and the ancient Hugh and Finke River Systems
on your journey to Kings Canyon.
Upon arrival
we take time to explore the spectacular North and South Walls,
the 'Amphitheatre', 'Lost City' and the 'Garden of Eden'.
(In summer, walks may be shortened due to extreme temperatures).
After lunch, we travel on to Uluru (Ayers Rock) for our overnight
stay in our private campsite. (LD)
Day
2 -
Uluru to Alice Springs
It's an
early start for one of the highlights of the tour - the Uluru
sunrise. Enjoy a walk around the base exploring the mysterious
rock formations and Aboriginal art sites while watching the
changing light on the desert or you can choose to climb Uluru.
We visit
the red domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and learn about
the significance of this spiritual place. (passengers may
leave the tour at Ayers Rock Resort). After lunch, we depart
for Alice Springs viewing the rugged desert scenery along
the way. (BL)

* Passengers can leave this tour at Yulara at 1.30pm on Day
2 - must be booked in advance on request only.
* Itinerary may vary and/or attractions be substituted due
to seasonal conditions, Traditional Owner and national park
requirements.
