We
use our coaches in locations where there are large driving
distances on sealed roads as the larger vehicles provide
greater comfort. In all other circumstances, we focus
on providing a small group experience with an average
maximum group size of 16.

ITINERARY
Overnight
pre-tour dorm accommodation included in Alice Springs
Day
1 - Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta &
Uluru
You
will be picked up from your overnight pre-tour dorm accommodation
(included).
Our adventure begins travelling to the Outback Camel Farm
where passengers will get to ride a camel (at
own expense), before continuing on to Uluru (Ayers
Rock) viewing the unique scenery along the way. After lunch,
we set out to explore the wonder of Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and
hike the Valley of the
Winds. We return to watch the desert sun setting over Uluru
with a glass of sparkling wine (Ayers Rock). After dinner
at our permanent campsite, view the brilliance of the outback
sky then curl up for the night in our tents or if you prefer,
under the millions of stars in an authentic Aussie bedroll
(swag). (LD)
Day
2 - Uluru to Kings Canyon
An early
start is required for one of the highlights of the tour -
the Uluru sunrise. Enjoy a walk around the base exploring
the mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal art sites while
watching the changing light on the desert or you can choose
to climb the rock. A visit to the Cultural Centre offers the
chance to view and purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts. After
lunch, we depart for Kings Canyon for our overnight camp and
a great camp oven dinner. (BLD)
Day
3 - Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
Climb
and explore Kings Canyon, viewing the impressive formations
of the 'Amphitheatre', 'The Lost City', the picturesque 'Garden
of Eden' and the breathtaking North and South Walls. After
lunch we depart for Alice Springs, enjoying the rugged desert
scenery along the way. Overnight dorm accommodation included.

Day
4 - Alice Springs to Banka Banka
We cross
the Tropic of Capricorn then stop at Ti tree for the opportunity
to purchase authentic Aboriginal art. Next we stop at the
Barrow Creek Pub to view the historic Telegraph Station and
then continue on to the amazing Devils Marbles, precariously
balanced granite boulders sacred to the traditional owners'.
We travel on to historic Banka Banka Cattle Station for dinner
and overnight camp. Weather permitting - take a dip in the
picturesque waterhole. (LD)
Day
5 - Banka Banka to Katherine Gorge
We head
further north to the famous outback pub at Daly Waters, the
oldest pub in the Northern Territory. After lunch we travel
to Mataranka to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the crystal
clear water. Late afternoon we travel to the magnificent Katherine
Gorge for overnight camp. (BLD)
Day
6 - Katherine Gorge to Darwin
Spend
half a day at the spectacular Katherine Gorge (canoeing
or cruising at own expense). There is also the chance
for a scenic helicopter flight (at own
expense) to appreciate the vastness of the gorge system.
After lunch we head into Darwin via Edith Falls and Adelaide
River. Overnight dorm accommodation included. (BL)
Day
7 - Darwin to Mary River
See the
falls of Litchfield National Park then head to the spectacular
Mary River Wetlands, home to a vast array of bird life. This
afternoon look for 'crocs' and other abundant wildlife on
our private river cruise. Enjoy dinner at our overnight camp
at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge. (LD)
Day
8 - Mary River to Kakadu
Our first
stop is Ubirr where we discover ancient Aboriginal rock art
and climb to enjoy picturesque views. We continue on to Maguk
(Barramundi Gorge), where we hike to the plunge pools for
a refreshing dip. Stay overnight at our permanent camp within
Kakadu NP. (BLD)
Day
9 - Kakadu to Darwin
This morning
we 4WD into the awesome Jim Jim Falls, hiking to the base
of the falls then continue on to Twin Falls. Here we join
a National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience up
the stunning gorge to the waterfall and sandy bank. In the
afternoon we return to Darwin, enjoying the impressive scenery
along the way. (BL)

* This package is made up of three individual tours; therefore
you may travel with a different guide and passengers during
each section.
* Package includes 3nights dorm accommodation and 6 nights
camping.
* Itinerary may vary and / or attractions substituted due
to seasonal conditions, Traditional Owner & National Park
