ITINERARY:
Day 1 -
Cairns to Cape Tribulation
Experience
one of Australia's most scenic coastal drives along the Captain
Cook Highway. Visit the unique Rainforest Habitat Wildlife
Sanctuary and see the endangered Cassowary and a myriad
of other wildlife, including Koalas and Crocodiles.
A guided walk
gives you the opportunity to learn more about the unique rainforest
wildlife. Take a guided rainforest walk up to the suspension
bridge at Mossman Gorge in the World Heritage Daintree
National Park with the opportunity to swim in the crystal
clear Mossman Gorge.
Look out for
local wildlife including water birds and Estuarine Crocodiles
on a Daintree River Cruise. Bus meets cruise at boat ramp
on northern side of River near Ferry. Plenty of Free time
to enjoy the iconic Cape Tribulation Beach or join the guide
for a walk through this unique beach side ecosystem. Depart
Cape Tribulation for the journey back to Cairns.
